THE DARK SURREAL is
a feature-length film currently in the works at experiMENTAL Productions.
Photography will begin on October 28th in Marion, Kansas.
Twenty years ago, a 24 year old girl Christy Mathis was kidnapped by an unknown
man. Over the course of three days the girl was beaten, tortured, raped and
eventually killed. The girl and her kidnapper were never found.
Law Enforcement did recover some videotaped footage that the kidnapper shot, from the
deserted house that this incident occurred in.
Present day...
Four teens embark on a journey into the deserted house.
Townsfolk believe that the girl's spirit still occupies the house and can be heard
crying late at night.
The four kids visit with a Quija board in hopes of contacting the girl's spirit.
Video camera in hand, the spiritual fanatic Susan documents the event in hopes of
seeking the truth behind what really happened.
